Mrs. FUNKEBALOGUN and Caro Smith, FIFA scam
You must be a moron to think this isn't spam, but the name of the "Co-coordinator" makes it worth mentioning. "Mrs. Funkebalogun" actually two names, Funke Balogun, is apparently common in Nigeria - big surprise.
The text of the email, (in all caps) was as follows:
DEAR WINNER,
PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE ATTACHMENT FOR DETAILS,YOU HAVE THEREFORE BEEN APPROVED FOR LUMP SUMS OF ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS

Mrs.FUNKEBALOGUN
(Co-coordinator).
Mrs. Caro Smith
(Secretary)
The text of the letter (which you should not open) included the amount in pink capital letters, as if it was making fun of itself!

Hi, enjoyed reading your blog, but perhaps the naieve side of me would like to think half the spam population are attractive, charismatic, dynamic, evasive, free-loading, free-loving, gallant, hyperactive, jovial, knowledgeable, loving, money-crazed, nice, folk who suffer from extreme shyness and would rather exploit than befriend one. I won today also. Good scam I think the people in India are more of a bunch of morons for thinking someone would fall for something so ridiculous.
